Study on the Relation between Foreign Openness Degree and the Development of Inbound Tourism-A Case Study in Shandong and Shaanxi Province

Foreign openness degree is an important factor impacts the development of inbound tourism. In this paper, a demonstration analysis is made from the view of time serial: A Case Study in Shandong and Shaanxi Province. The results are follows: from 1985 to 2008, as the foreign openness degree is accretion, the inbound tourism increase at same time, the relative coefficients of 3 importance index time serial change is over 0.80, and in some turning points has the good corresponding relation. In the last, the compare study is take out with correlation data of Shaanxi and Shandong from 1991 to 2008, as the rise of foreign openness degree in Shandong is, the increase of market occupancy ratio of inbound tourism is at same time. At opposition, as the fall of foreign openness degree in Shaanxi is, the decrease of market share of inbound tourism is at follow. Therefore, foreign openness is an important factor makes difference of inbound tourism development.
