Water distribution network is an essential component of lifeline systems. However,it performed frangible during many previous strong earthquakes and led to difficulties for people's life and rescue after earthquake. So analyzing the seismic reliability of water distribution network is an important job and provides basis for seismic design and innovation of water distribution network. In this paper,a functional reliability analysis program of the water supply network under earthquake is proposed. Combining with pipeline seismic analysis and leakage model,the pipeline leakage flow under earthquake is derived. Considering the randomness of leakage flow,a random perturbation method is used to give the mean and standard deviation of nodal head of water distribution network after earthquake. Then,a firstorder reliability method is employed to give the seismic functional reliability of water distribution network. A simple water distribution network and an actual water distribution network are investigated to illustrate the proposed algorithm.
