摘要

The identification of external loads on smart structure is important branch in advanced structural health monitoring. Optimization technology offers a potential solution to the problem of load identification.The present effort is aimed at developing a finite element-based methodology involving back analysis formulation that employs measured strain or displacement. Based on the least square method,two types of inverse models are built up and the finite element approaching method by the combination of finite element method and optimization method is proposed. This method is presented to identify the load on the structure by the displacements of some points in the structure. An example shows that the method is simple,credible and has high precise and rapid calculation velocity. Therefore,it may find its uses in the load identification of future smart structure.
