Design and realization of Geopark tourism information system based on ArcIMS--A Case of Mt.Taishan Global Geopark

摘要

In the process of protection, development and management of Geopark, we can improve efficiency and quality of management, and serve tourists better by using GIS. The principle, goal, flow chart, database designing of tourism system construction are introduced by case of Mt. Taishan Global Geopark. The system is separated into seven subsystems, such as general, geoheritage management, multimedia, scenic area planning, tourism consultation, tourism statistic and analysis, and system maintenance. And function of all subsystems is introduced one by one. The system structure and implementation method based on ArcIMS are analyzed. At last, Mt. Taishan Global Geopark tourism information system is realized.
