摘要

The third-generation wind wave model of unstructured-grid version of SWAN was employed to simulate wave field of Bohai Bay under extreme wind processes in different directions for 20 years taken from both ECMWF and NCEP wind data. Annual maximum wave height and the corresponding period of sampling points along 20m and 30m bathymetric contours were obtained from computed wave fields. Design waves were estimated by curve-fitting method for Pearson III type distribution.
