After the white-rot fungi were immobilized in different ways, not only was its biological activity increased significantly, but also its ability to pure wastewater was enhanced a great deaL In this experiment, whiterot fungi immobilized by polyvinyl alcohol-sodium alginate, bacterial cellulose dynamic adsorption and bactenal cellulose static adsorption, was used to deal with malachite green dye wastewater. The results showed that the most effective way to pure the malachite green wastewater was white-rot fungi immobilization by the bacterial cellulose static adsorption. The color removal rate remained more than 93% on the former six groups of wastewater, which was increased 3% more than free bacteria. It exceeded the other two methods in efficiency and stability of color removaL As an immobilized carrier, bacterial cellulose is biodegradable, immobilized operation simply, etc and applicable to industrial production and this method has a great potential.
