Research on the Optimization of Ticketing Management Strategies According to the Characteristics of Chinese HSR Passenger Flow

Ticketing management is an important issue in the daily management of railway passenger transportation. The strategies for ticketing must be adapted to the characteristics of the passenger flow. In this paper , the differences between the passenger flows of Chinese high - speed railway and the existed lines as well as the foreign high - speed railways. Based on this, the ticketing strategy with the optimal control of seat selling as the core was proposed. The practices proved the efficiency of the proposed strategy.
