摘要

The DEV-UL15 gene encode a putative terminase large subunit.which play a significant role in packaging and cleave process of the virus replication.In this paper, the molecular characteristic of this gene and encode protein was analyzed with bioinformatics software.Protein sequence analysis indicates that the protein composed by 674 aa with a molecular weight of 74967.5kDa. The isoelectric point is S.61,aliphatic index is 79.66,instability index is computed to be 40.81 and the grand average of hydropathicity is 0.085.There is no signal peptide and transmembrane domain and the potential antigenic epitopes are situated in 16-29aa,186-202aa, 262-267aa.410415aa,618-638 aa.The UL15 protein contains two conserved domains.the one is located in the exonl and the other one is located in the exonli.These results provided rational data to elucidate biological function and physiological features of the UL15 protein.
