Identification of S-genotypes and Genetic Analysis of Chinese New Pear Variety 'Jinzhuguo'

By genomic PCR and sequence analysis, 'Jinzhuguo ' pear was genotyped as S3S19. In order to research the genetic relationship about 'Jinzhuguo ' , 10 pear cultivars were used as materials to analyze their genome polymorphism by 1SSR markers. 10 tested materials were divided into 3 groups. The first group included 'Jinzhuguo', 'Huangxian Changba', 'Liuyuesu', 'BinxianLaoyisheng', 'ZhangyeChangba', 'Daxiangshui'. The second group included 'France', while the third group included 'Wakahikari', 'Kisui', 'TaianChangba'. The research result revealed that tested pear cultivars were almost classified into Pyrus bretschneideri Rehd , P.pyrifolia Nakai , P.communwas Linn respectively. But local wild breed 'Jinzhuguo' of P.pyrifolia Nakai was classified into P. bretschneideri, however, the local cultivar 'TaianChangba' of P. bretschneideri was included in P.pyrifolia. The analytic result offered scientific basis on right classification of different pear breeds, and provided theoretical basis on hybrid cultivation and genetic improvement.
