摘要

The initial meaning about equal pay for equal work is equal pay between men and women. Later, with the development of society, the "equal pay for equal value" theory appeared to avoid the payment of wages on discriminatory behavior. The right of equal pay for equal work is a basic human right, and it is an important part to eliminate discrimination, realizing equal rights for work; at the same time, it is the important guarantee to build a harmonious society. We think the biggest problem is lack of strong wage legislation in our country. The relevant departments of the state should formulate specific enforcement provisions as quickly as possible, such as "the labor law", "the law of labor contract" and so on. This paper discusses the legal protection issue about equal pay for equal work and puts forward a series of effective measures: eliminating the defects of the relevant law, strengthening the law enforcement of employment anti-discrimination aspects, perfecting the judicial relief way of the equal employment right, and protecting citizens to struggle for the rights.
