摘要

The modern port logistics depend upon application of IT technologies, such as GPS, WLAN and RF-identify etc. This paper introduces a new terminal yard production processing, which includes Rubber Tired Gantry (RTG) with mobile computer, wireless data communication and container location auto-tracked by GPS in the terminal production process. Also, the article shows the model of yard process controlling, which covers the whole terminal area and all RTGs linked with WLAN. These new IT technologies will be applied and focused on the Business Processing Rebuilding (BPR) in container port enterprises.
