As supercritical boiler is used more and more widely, the research on virtual simulation about it has become a hot topic in order to improve the functions and the characteristics of boiler. The virtual simulation of steam-water process often cannot achieve good results because of the complexity of the supercritical boiler and the difficulty of steamwater simulation. In this paper the establishment method of supercritical boiler models is interpreted, as well as the lightweight technologies of the complex models. Based on the models, a virtual simulation method of steam-water process in supercritical boiler is put forward by making full use of the particle system and the mapping technique effects within 3D VR platform. Taking 600MW supercritical boiler as an example, the virtual simulation of steam-water process is established. The results show that the virtual simulation system can clearly show steam-water process, the change process of steam-to-water, and the steam-water temperature in the supercritical boiler
