THE CASE OF ADULT EDUCATION: EFFECTIVELY TRAINING BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS

We propose an innovative method for instructing industry professionals. This group presentssome challenges to the instructor: the limited time available to deliver a complex subject matter,and the unknown background of the participants. We develop a live case methodology todemonstrate the effect of optimizing a company’s operations on its ROI. The presentation andcase methodology use a four-fold approach starting with identifying the need of the problem tothe challenges in implementation in real life scenario. We show that our methodology issuccessful, the feedback is overwhelmingly positive, and the results are transferable to otherinstitutions.
