Engineering innovation: Prof. Charles K. Kao's Nobel Prize

Issues like why Kao's engineering related innovation is awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics 2009, why he is recognized as one who initiated both the search for and the development of low-loss fiber, why his achievements is regarded as groundbreaking, how does Kao evaluate himself and his achievement, and enlightenment we can learn on engineering innovation from Prof. Kao's career are discussed in this presentation.
