摘要

This is an attempt to reduce the steam consumption upto 30-35% by utilizing Falling film plate type evaporators followed by concentrators, Vertical continuous pans for A, B & C- boiling & other heat recovery devices such condensate flash recovery, on line molasses conditioners, modified centrifugal wash water system, boiler feed water system, melter etc. In the Mill station, primary mill followed by bagasse Diffuser & dewatering Mills are employed. Each mill is driven by individual AC-VF with planetary drive directly mounted on shqft.The diffuser is roto 2-stage vertical type Carousal Diffuser.Automation (DCS based) is employed in various station. The targeted steam consumption is below 30% on cane. The details are given in the Text of the paper.
