Uncertainties of the measured power at the rated condition and I-V characteristics at a given condition in SOFC performance testing were evaluated. The uncertainties were estimated mainly from the accuracy of measurement instruments using sensitivity coefficients experimentally obtained and combined to get the final results according to the law of propagation of uncertainty. Evaluated uncertainty was found to become large when the fuel utilization became larger than 70% because the dependency of cell voltage on fuel flow rate becomes large in this region.
