The principle and technical features of synchronization device based on GPS and transmitting circuit based onbit-stream control of large fixed-source loop transient electromagnetic system are expounded separately. In allusion tothe issue of survey depth problem in oil and gas exploration by TEM, large fixed-source loop installations which isdeveloped in transient electromagnetic system are used to provide high transmitting magnetic moment. Thelong-distance synchronization between transmitter and receiver is also achieved. We detected the structure of aCarbon dioxide gas field ,an oil and water interface of oil displacement with water drive and so on. The explorationdepth can be as deep as 1km. Apparent resistivity was calculated according to layered model of the earth, andpreliminary result was given out.
