Modeling of WEEE Recycling Process in China with Petri Net

摘要

In China, the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is steadily forging ahead into commercial practice. On the basis of Petri net and workflow theories, and exemplified by China's current scenario, a Petri net model for WEEE recycling process was established. In this model, logical relationships between testing, disassembling, shredding, sorting, toxic & hazardous substances disposal, and remanufacturing process were systematically analyzed. This study may provide a constructive support for the design and optimization of WEEE recycling process in China.
