Counter-Measures for the Development of Agricultural Product Logistics: Investigations in Shangdong Province

In recent years, both the central and local governments have paid attention to the issue of increasing China farmer's incomes, while farmers' situation remains grim. There are many reasons for the difficulties, among which the lagged agricultural product logistics is an important factor. Therefore, a comprehensive analysis about the factors affecting the increase of farmer's income in Shandong province is firstly made in this paper, from which it can be concluded that the agricultural product logistics is significantly important. Then, the problems existing in agricultural product logistics of Shandong province are identified. Finally, with learned lessons from the domestic and overseas experience, the counter-measures are given to the development of agricultural product logistics.
