摘要

As it comes to the knowledge economy, knowledge workers play more and more important role in modern company's development. Knowledge workers' motivation doesn't only mean attentions on compensation itself, but also attentions on how to utilize compensation so that they could be motivated. This article holds an inquest of high-technology enterprises in Guangdong, P.R.China, and finds that there is a direct correlation between the process of payment and knowledge workers' motivation. Meanwhile, as shown through analysis, in the process of payment, the environment of payment, the forms of payment, as well as the time of payment have relatively high effects on knowledge worker's motivation. Finally, this paper puts forward the major and general requirements of its insights and conclusion.
