Mine flood emergency takes a large account for the disasters loss in China's coal mines. Worse, normal submersible pumps are not enough to handle the situations with small water pit or even without water pit due to administration's neglect or ill design of mine structure. It is thus necessary to develop a highly reliable integrated drainage system for such a demanding scenario. An innovative in-series combination of a large-scale mining submersible pump, i.e. the major pump, with an oil-filled mixed-flow pump, i.e. the associate pump, is presented with improvement on its previous model. The newly developed integrated drainage system offers noticeable improvements on the associate pump and thus the average MTBF is greatly increased.
