Dashboard for Intelligent Collaborative Engineering (DICE)

摘要

In contemporary enterprises, there is a huge amount of data hidden away in computer systems and in-depthknowledge in each engineering disciplines. How to take full advantage of the rich data and knowledge for betterdecision makings remains a challenging research problem. The DICE (Dashboard for Intelligent CollaborativeEngineering) project aims at providing an interactive software platform to exploit the value of the massive data setsand advanced engineering tools for better decisions. Three kinds of computer interfaces (including the naturallanguage interface, diagram and script interface, and C++ and script interface) are designed to connect differentgroups of people (including the end users, the IT staff, domain experts, software engineers and researchers) to theDICE platform according to their responsibilities and skills. Thus they can work together in a harmonized mannertoward effective data retrieval, analysis and visualization.
