In non-space faring countries such as Kuwait there is always low interest in space exploration. The reasons are many, such as social, economical, educational, employment opportunities, and space awareness among the public. To increase space awareness can be done through space education and public outreach programs. The non-space faring country can create a next generation of engineers and scientists in space related fields, if space science would be included in their educational curriculum. By including space science in school, it is easy to increase students' interests in learning engineering and science subjects, such as mathematics, physics, etc. In the past few years space awareness in Kuwait has risen significantly through individual initiated public outreach programs and media has played major part in it. In an effort to address these issues and to impact the overall understanding and quality of science and technology, we must devote to the objectives of improving the quality of formal education and informal public outreach. It is possible to increase space awareness in non-space faring countries, even by solo efforts.
