Research on the Total Cost Factors of Construction Project

摘要

Traditionally attention was focused mostly on the control of expenditures in order to control total cost of construction project.In fact there are many other essential factors besides expenditures that affect total cost of construction project,viz.schedule,quality,safety and environment costs.This paper studies these five factors and sets up an index system for the management of total cost factors.Based on this system,then a method of integrated cost management is suggested.It has important practical meaning to improve the construction cost management in our construction industry.
