The construction industry is facing more and more competition and challenge.In a competitive industry,the enterprises always expect cost reduction.The construction enterprises also face the pressure of reducing materials delivery time.Therefore they think it more and more important to study the economy of construction course,quality management system,the production ability of workers and material waste.Under the premise,the improvement of logistics management has become an important element for construction enterprises to achieve competitive advantages.The paper analyzed the unique characteristics of construction logistics and material management.Aiming at two prime materials procurement patterns,their material flows and corresponding information flows are analyzed respectively.Different from traditional fragment material delivery,the paper optimized the whole construction course from the integrated view and built the optimization model of construction logistics.In the logistics model of construction,the main parameters concerned involve the type of supplier,how materials are consumed,availability of materials on the supply market with regard to their importance in the building process,value of supply and size of supply batch,transport distances,time of delivery,kind of transport,and transport costs,etc.
