The sensitivity of the newly developed two-phase flow model (Liu and Sato, 2005a) is investigated on the effect of wave period and the freestream velocity. Preliminary comparisons with the experimental data of Horikawa et al. (1982) are performed. Further comparisons with experimental data by Dohmen-Janssen (1999) show the two-phase flow model is capable of simulating the sediment movement processes accurately. The calculated net transport rates are compared with 25 experimental measurements under combined wave/current sheetflow regime, which includes various flow and sediment conditions.
