Formation of cyclodextrin inclusion complex using supercritical fluid process

摘要

In this work, itraconazole, a poorly waterinsolubledrug, was formulated with HP-?-CD andhydrophilic polymers to enhance its water solubilityand bioavailability by supercritical fluid (SCF)process. We could produce complex powders withhigher water solubility and fast dissolution profiles.Our study confirmed that the SCF process is one ofthe alternative methods to circumvent variousproblems of the conventional CD complexationmethod.
