Imidazolidin-4-one derivatives of primaquine weresynthesized as potential drug delivery systems forthe treatment of malaria. The acidity constants of theimidazolidin-4-ones have been determined in orderto establish a possible relationship between pKa,gametocytocidal activity and stability.
