Development of a Robust Formulation and Manufacturing Process for HPMC-Based MatrixControlled Release Coated Tablets Made by Roller Compaction

摘要

A formulation and manufacturing process was developedfor HPMC-based matrix tablets with an 8-hour zero-orderrelease profile. The release was not affected by commonformulation variables and type of dissolution media. Theproduct showed good stability and the process wassuccessfully scaled up to 2 cu ft. blender.
