Through planting watermelon with organic ecological soilless culture in the sevenmechanization joint greenhouse and observing leaf area height of plant, leaf of area, length ofknot, thick of stem and economical character,it analyzes and explores growing conditions ofwatermelon from three places: In the south, north, middle of greenhouse then draws inconclusion. Firstly,the temperature in the middle of the greenhouse is stable, but thetemperature in the south and the north changes distinctly. Drop irrigation amount is moderate inthe middle, avoiding humidness in the south and dryness in the north. Humid curtain in thenorth can keep temperature in winter. In normal conditions,the temperature in the north is0.5-2°C higher than that in the south. It leads watermelon to grow quickly in the north but slowlyin the south. Secondly, though sunlight is weak through joint greenhouse, the growing state ofwatermelon is fine because of excellent inner humidness and temperature, high organicproportion in organic ecological soilless culture medium, superior fertilizer and good ventilation.In view of strong plants, large amounts of output and superior quality, it is suitable to culturewatermelon in joint greenhouse in winter-spring. Thirdly, the test result shows that although thetemperature and irrigation state differ in the south and the north of the joint greenhouse, there islittle changes on plants growing condition. Moreover, this difference has made a little influenceon plants growth. Therefore, the joint greenhouse is suitable for the demands of agriculture.What's more, the difference can be solved through providing heating installation in the south.Technically, it is feasible to set up 60m long joint greenhouses from south to north (southernventilator, northern humid curtain).
