In this paper, we investigate what effect network architecture has on the yield and post-yield deformational response of controlled epoxy-based network architectures. We start by reviewing network properties above the glass transition, discuss the glass transition itself, and ultimately properties below the glass transition. Particular attention is paid to the effect that network architecture has on the strain hardening response and ultimate fracture strain. The effects of temperature are also discussed.
