摘要

Newly designed polyethylene glycol (PEG) modified cationic liposomes that contain a novel cationic lipid TRX-20 were shown to have binding ability to glomerular mesangial cells without losing long circulating property in blood. The liposomes accumulated into inflammatory lesions of nephritic kidney and selectively inhibited mesangial cell proliferation in experimental glomerulonephritis. These results indicated the liposomes to be an ideal targeting tool for treatment of glomerulonephritis.
