POST-QUAKE EMERGENCY HOUSING POLICIES FOR TAIWAN CHI-CHI EARTHQUAKE -TEMPORARY HOUSING AND RENT SUBSIDES-

After Taiwan Chi-Chi Earthquake which took place on September 21, 1999, the Central Government utilized several emergency housing policies after earthquake, In this research, the two investigations about temporary housing and rental subsidies were held to reveal the expectation of housing reconstruction of victims who are in emergency-housing stage. As a result, well community relationship in temporary-housing developments and housing reconstruction related to the economical ability were made clear from the temporary-housing investigation; on the other hand, in the rental-subsidies investigation, many victims used rental subsidies as fund of housing reconstruction, especially in repairing housing; however, still some victims have fund problems about housing recovery that cannot be ignore.
