Recent Developments in CUBIC Structures

This paper outlines recent developments in CUBIC Structures, with particular emphasis on the new CUBIGRID Space Frame. This is an exciting development of the original CUBIC Space Frame double layer grid concept. It uses spaced apart bracing members to extend the range of applications, whilst still offering the full depth service openings for which CUBIC Structures are already known. The versatility and economy of the resulting structure are outlined, together with a number of factors that can influence design and cost.
