The patterns and forms found in natural systems have been used to create an image for artefacts: e.g. arts and architecture. Since topology and geometry of these patterns and forms are often as a basis for the human recognition of actual living system and also they form the basis for the methods and the process of creation, we have been enforced by observation of them to inspire something. Among these natural objects, a classic and a particular interest configuration in nature is the spider's web. Since the colloquium IL 6 in 1973 SFB 64, Ref 1 was published, a spider's web construction and their forms has been one of the interesting artefacts to be realized as cable nets structures. The nets of orb webs are adjusted to a special way of catching prey, and all the different web types should be related to basic structural action. The orb (called Garden cross spider and Feather-legged spider) web is close to being an ideally engineered plane pure lattice structure with pre-tensioned straight and pin - or adhesive jointed bars, as stated in Ref 2. On the other hand, some spiders called Filmy dome spider, grass spider form three-dimensional webs made a dense forest of sticky mesh over bushes or hedges, see Ref 3. Like the canopy landing in a tree: the strength and elasticity of branches, will be placed. Some analogical competence can be extent to a special spatial structure, illustrated as in Fig 1. Recently, the awareness of possibility of an orb web to make a key for form finding starting block is raised, see Refs 4―6. This paper is also concerned with one of applications of web building strategy to form a metal structure. However the idea should be evident to get an initial structural model and to illustrate how to make the initial form and to assess how the web will behave.
