Human cytokine arrays: a promising tool to identify the molecular targets for drug discovery

Cytokine protein arrays are a powerful tool to profile cytokine changes in different cells and patients. As with any discovery method, cytokine protein arrays allow us to uncover new molecular targets and suggest hypotheses that subsequently can be tested by traditional molecular and cell biology methods, or followed with additional scientific exploration. Arrays are possible for many experiments.
