The International Standards for Organization (ISO) created the ISO 9001 standard to facilitate trade, now it has become a facilitator in business globalization. The standard recently has undergone a major change to include a primary focus on customer satisfaction. There are many benefits that organizations and their customers derive when they are compliant with the ISO 9001:2000 standard. This paper presents an overview of the ISO 9001 standard, how Spire Solar implemented it. what benefits Spire Solar and our customers experience, and what is next in the roadmap of Quality for Spire Solar.
