The bubble behavior in small diameter tubes is different from that in large diameter tubes, this will result in different heat transfer mechanisms in small and large diameter tubes. In this study, the bubble shapes, cylinderical bubble velocity, critical diameter for bubble rising and the film thickness between the bubble rising and the film thickness between the bubble and the tube wall were investigated in glass tubes with length L chemical bounds 1.5 m, and with inner diameters ranging from 3 to 6 mm. The test liquids were distilled water, acetone and ethyl alcohol.
