In this paper we apply iterative method to impelment the linear multiuser detection in CDMA multipath channels with receiver antenna array to avoid the high complexity of computing the inverse of matrices directly. We use Jacobi, Gauss-Seidel and gradient iteration algorithms to solve the system of linear equations and compare their convergence performance. Furhtermore, a modified form of these iteration algorithms is proposed to speedup the convergence. The computational complexity of all the above iteration algorithms is only linear with the number of users. The convergence performance of the iterative algorithms is studied via computer simulations.
