Research on CIPS-oriented Enterprise Integrated Modeling Techniques

Enterprise modeling is a new area of considerable current interest to process industries. The essence of CIPS is system integration and technology fusion. In order to obtain this goal, the process enterprises need a set of advanced methodologies and support tools urgently to support the planning and implementation of CIPS. As we can see, enterprise integrated modeling techniques make it possible to turn the enterprise modeling theories into operable enterprise models so as to achieve model-driven enterprise design, analysis and operation. Based on the description of the application characteristics and system structure of CIPS, this paper presents the goals of CIPS-oriented enterprise integrated modeling and their key technologies. This paper also puts forward the CIPS-oriented enterprise integrated modeling architecture and the process framework of enterprise integrated modeling. Undoubtedly, this research on the CIPS-oriented enterprise integrated modeling techniques enlightens future research in this field.
