摘要

The partition coefficients encode considerable information on interactions between VOCs and the adsorbent used, and on the sorption properties of the adsorbent. This information can be extracted by application of the LSER method. For the adsorbent studied in this work, the results of the LSER method are in agreement with the known chemical constitution of the adsorbent. The LSER method can also be used to predict the selectivity of a given adsorbent towards pairs of VOCs.
