After various method tests, material studies and component development, Nextrom developed a fully automatic, reliable and economical way of joining the fiber in the tight buffering process, regardless of the process speed. The method is suited for making the joint both at present and at higher process speeds. Other significant advantages of the system are an even quality, zero length of scrap fiber as well as a joining process that is independent from the operator. These factors multiply the benefits of the joining method.
