Measurements of efficiency in heat exchangers are important factors for a good development in internal combustion engines and air-conditioning systems. Air flow rate is a method for the measurement of the thermal exchange. Centro Ricerche Fiat has developed a new methodology for measurements of air temperature and mean mass flow across the heat exchangers of vehicles.
