The work presented in this paper is an attempt to study the effects of the AC-electric field, temperature and aging time on the ion-exchange conduction mechanism and dielectric properties of Mica-PVC membrane in electrolytic solution through impedance technique. This study is based on determination of some electrical parameters as AC-conductivity, dielectric constants, and activation energy in a frequency range 1Hz-40kHz and temperature range 25-66°C. It was found that frequency, temperature and aging effects enhance the ionic conduction takes place in the surface and in the bulk of the membrane. This enhancement is confirmed by increasing the AC-conductivity and decreasing the activation energy of the conduction mechanism.
