Design education combined with creative production

摘要

Because an industrial product is generally used in the situations under various loads,the ability to endure those loads is required o fthe product.Therefore,in design education,it is necessary for students studying mechanical engineering to consider the characteristics of strength and durability which correspond to the shape of the material being used.However,since even now,data related to these characteristics is lacking,it is difficult to sufficiently realize this objective.As an attempt to solve this problem,the authors tried a design education combined with production of a robot.This apper will describe this education.
