Contribution of Guadeloupe accelerometer network data for local hazard assessment

Several years ago, the BRGM installed a permanent accelerometer network in theFrench West Indies. At present, this network in Guadeloupe is composed of 11 digital instrumentsimplanted so to constitute a profile across the Pointe-à-Pitre isthmus. In case of a strong earthquake,this network configuration will enable us to obtain seismic reference motions in the Pointeà-Pitre urban district.
