Thermal nondestructive testing (TNDT) of composite reinforcements adhesively bonded to concrete civil structures

Thermographic nondestructie testing (TNDT) was performed on two steel reinforced concrete civil structures which were reinforced with composite mateirals. The first was an 8 foot tall column with a rectangular cross-section. this column was reifnorced with adhesively bonded fiberglass shells to simualte a seismic retrofit. The second structure was a marine pier which was upgraded in deck loaidng capacity by the application of 4 types of composite reinforcement.
