Biodispersant production by sea bacteria and its application to oil spills at sea

摘要

The objective of this work is to select one marine microorganism capable of producing biodispersants to degrade crude oil. The first expeirment was the idenfitication of the sea microorgaism through biochemical tests using the follwing systems: API Coryne (Bio Merieux) and/or API ID 32 Staph (Bio Merieux). The microorganisms used were Bacillus and Coccus Gram Positive. The kinetics of microbial growth were followed up in different culture medims, changing the source of catbon (gloucose and sucrose) and the salt conentrations.
