Comparing pull manufacturing systems through simulation

In the recent years, several production control systems have been proposed as an alternative to the kanban system. Most of these new systems claim to share the benefits of the kanban and the pull systems - lower work in process and ease of control- while being applicable to a wider set of manufacturing scenarios.
