Investigation fo the four-bar linkage in a spatial rear derailleur system

The derailleur systme on a bicycle can make hte rider time-saving or labor saving by changing the suitable reduction ratio.The rear derailleur should dguide the runnign chain rapidly and precisely to a selected freewheel sprocket position without disengagement from the freewheel assembly.In this study,a mathematicla mdoel of a four-bar linkage mechanisms in a rear deralilleur is devloed to simulate cable force.
